Based in Fremantle, we are the Maritime & Travel Bookshop, one of the last brick & mortar shops selling charts and maps left in Australia.

Staffed by a dedicated crew who know travel, and will make you feel at home in our new premises, the Maritime & Travel Bookshop is carrying on the tradition of providing good service, specialised knowledge and a love for our Port City.

Our collection of travel-related merchandise includes maps, globes, flags, nautical titles and history. We carefully curate our library of books, charts, maps and other wonderful items, so whether you’re visiting us at our Fremantle shop or online, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

We pride ourselves on having the largest travel guide selection in Western Australia, as well as stocking the entire range of the Lonely Planet guidebook series – a series which always stays up to date and includes some wonderful kids’ travel and education titles.

We are sub-agents to The Navigation Centre - Townsville, which means we can supply Australian Hydrographic Charts corrected to the latest NTMs.
